This sport requires bike handling skills and self reliance and can be performed almost anywhere from a back yard to a gravel road, but the majority of mountain bikers ride off road trails, whether country back roads, fire roads or single track (narrow trails that wind through forrests, mountains or fields). There are aspects of mountain biking more similar to trail running than regular cycling. Riders are often far from civilization and there is a strong ethic of self reliance in the sport. Riders learn to repair their broken bikes and fix punctures to avoid being stranded miles from help.
Each of these days can be extended to a weekend or longer with accomodation arranged if required. Bikes and crash helmets can be hired to suit your specific requirements.
The price per day is £55 per person or book for four at only £200 - call for bigger groups
